Nick Diaz called out GSP after his win over BJ Penn at UFC 137. Diaz said, “I don’t think Georges is hurt, I think he’s scared, he’s scared to fight everybody right now…where you at Georges?” The camera cut to GSP in the crowd, and he shook his head, and jittered his hands, “acting” scared. At the post-fight press conference, Dana White made it official by announcing GSP vs. Nick Diaz on Super Bowl Weekend. Carlos Condit will wait. I can’t wait for that fight.
In other news at UFC 137, both legends in the Octagon, BJ Penn and Mirko Cro Cop announced their retirements from MMA. BJ Penn saying that he’s got one daughter, and another on the way, and he didn’t want to go home looking like this. Cro Cop, on the other hand, very apologetic about his loss, announced that it was it time to leave.
