After BJ Penn tweeted that Dana White offered him an deal that he “couldn’t refuse”, it left everybody wondering who he’d be fighting on October 29, 2011 at UFC 137.  With Carlos Condit scheduled to fight GSP, no one really knew who to expect.  Well, yesterday, Dana White confirmed via his twitter account that Nick Diaz is back, and he’ll be the one fighting BJ Penn.  Pretty crazy last few days in the MMA world. Dana White just confirmed that the new main event for UFC 137 will be GSP vs. Carlos Condit.  Apparently, Nick Diaz decided not to show up for the press conference or take a flight to Vegas for the announcement.  Carlos Condit, who was supposed to be fighting BJ Penn in UFC 137 cried when he got the call that he’d be fighting GSP instead… Here’s the official UFC youtube video announcing the new fight:
